For 4 servings:

red lentils, washed, soaked for 1 hour in water and filtered 200 g;

salt 1h. l .;

fat-free butter 2 tbsp. l .;

Onions, chopped 2 pcs .;

seeds of cumin 1 teaspoon;

poppy seed 1 tsp;

paprika or chili seasoning 1 tsp;

ground turmeric 1 tsp;

coriander seeds 2 tsp;

6 carnations;

cinnamon stick 5 cm;

pods of fresh cardamom 4 pcs .;

coconut, grated 90 g;

4pcs black pepper grains;

garlic 4 cloves.

Pour the lentils with raw clean water, salt and bring the ox to a boil. Boil the lentils on medium heat for 30 minutes or until it is soft and does not absorb all the water. While the lentils are being cooked, prepare the masala from these ingredients.
