Potato flowers-baskets with stuffing

Potato flowers-baskets filled- a recipe. Potato baskets can be prepared with different fillings to taste: meat, fish, vegetables, mushrooms, etc.


  1. potatoes (medium size) 5 pcs
  2. mushrooms 100 gr;
  3. squash 1/2;
  4. Bulgarian pepper 1-2 pieces;
  5. hard cheese 100 gr (or processed cheese);
  6. yolk 2 pieces;
  7. salt;
  8. Sesame seeds (for decoration)
  9. vegetable oil.


We clear the potatoes, cut them into thin plates and put them in cold water for 15-20 minutes to soften them.

Then we lay out the potato plates in the molds for cupcakes, after having been lubricated with oil. Plates lay out in the form of a flower: 5 plates on the sides and one place in the middle to the bottom.

Rub the grated cheese, if the cheese is melted, first cool it in the freezer, add the yolks, salt and beat the mixture until smooth. Pour the resulting mass of 1-2 tbsp. l.into the flower so that the potato plates are attached when baking.

The filling can be any: meat, fish or vegetable. In this case, prepare the vegetable stuffing. &Nbsp;

Cut the mushrooms, peppers and zucchini, salt and pepper. Put everything on the pan and fry. Then put the roasted mixture into flowers.

We lubricate the potato petals with sunflower oil. Put the flowers in the oven heated to 1800C and bake until golden brown. Approximately, for 5-10 minutes until readiness sprinkle the flowers with sesame for decoration.
