Cake "Potato"

I previously wrote about how to make a delicious biscuit cake without baking. But this method is better known and loved by our people!


For the preparation of the cake "Potato" you will need:the most common cookies (suitable "Jubilee", "K kofe" and the like) - 500 g, a can of condensed milk, butter - 100 g, 3 tablespoons of cocoa, 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar.

Remove the butter from the refrigerator - it should stand at room temperature to soften slightly, as it will have to be evenly mixed into the dough for the “Potato” cake.


While the butter is melting, crush the cookies. Historically, this was done with a meat grinder, but you can use a different method. Put in the biscuits condensed milk, butter, 2 tablespoons of cocoa. Mix well the mass until smooth (the resulting mass should resemble soft clay, but not so perfectly homogeneous). Form from the resulting mass of potatoes, choose their size at will.Mix a tablespoon of cocoa with powdered sugar. Carefully roll the cakes in this mixture.


To imitate the sprouts, take any cream and a pastry syringe put 2-3 white dots on each cake.


Helpful advice:for sprouts it is not necessary to make the cream on purpose, you can use ready-made whipped cream from a can. Another way is to leave some butter, condensed milk and powdered sugar, mix them until smooth and decorate the cakes with this cream.


By the way, you can not put the mass of cocoa biscuits, then the cake inside will be beige, like real potatoes, but I personally prefer the chocolate flavor of the mass from which this cake is made.
