Kate Middleton's Iconic Engagement Dress Is Now Super Affordable
Once upon a time, Duchess of Cambridge and style icon Kate Middleton wore a dark blue dress when she and Prince William announced their engagement. The dress, which was made by Issa and retailed for 5, sold out almost immediately — and saddened women around the world who couldn't afford to get their hands on the dress for themselves.
If you were one of those women, have no fears: You can now achieve Kate's engagement announcement look forwayless! According to a recent report fromHello!, the former creative director for Issa, Daniella Helayel, has launched her own mini-collection with the affordable British clothing store Monsoon — and naturally, she included a piece that looks remarkably similar to Kate's iconic blue dress.
Called "The Gisele," Helayel's new dress comes in a shade of blue similar to that of Kate's Issa gown, and it features the same long sleeves, V-shaped neckline and wrap style. The best part? This K-Midd look-alike retails for only 5. (Okay, so maybe it's still nottotallya "budget" buy, but it's at least way more affordable than the 5 Issa price tag.)

If you're seriously considering snapping up one of these blue Monsoon dresses for yourself, you might want to start shopping now — we sense that this cheaper version of Kate's iconic look won't last long.
