The Microlab 5.1 is, in essence, not just speakers, but an entire speaker system consisting of one main subwoofer speaker and five auxiliary speakers. Connecting them to a computer is not as easy as a regular pair of speakers, but it’s still easy. This article will tell you how to connect the speakers Microlab 5.1 to a PC.
We will need
To connect the speakers, we need quite a bit - the system itself and three cable types: two tulips on one side and a 3.5 mm jack on the other side. As a rule, they can be found in a box with speakers.
As we said above, we have six speakers - the main subwoofer, 2 front speakers (FrontLeft and FrontRight), 2 rear (SurroundLeft / SurroundRight) and one center (Center). These names are written on the columns, they will help you to correctly position the system. Now, in fact, proceed to connect.
- Turn off the computer.
- We find a sound card in the system unit, and on it are jack connectors - L / R front, Center and L / R surrounded - as a rule, these are green, orange and black sockets, respectively.
- So, we have three connectors and six speakers, which means that, as you may have guessed, we need to connect them in pairs.
- Take each forked “tulip” one by one and connect the speakers first in pairs, and then connect with the corresponding jack of the sound card.
That's all! The main thing - do not mess up.
