How to change the font in Windows?
In our previous articles we have already described how to change the font color and how to make the font larger in different applications. But what if you are not satisfied with the font settings in the operating system itself? Fortunately, it is possible to change the font in Windows 7 at the level of the main elements of the system (window titles, menus, icons), and in this article we will explain how to do this.
Changing the font size in Windows
If you are not satisfied with the font size on the screen, you can increase it. To do this, open the Start menu -> Control Panel and enter the keyword “text” (without quotes) in the search box. In the search results, click the "Resize text and other elements" link.
In the window that opens, you can immediately change the size of both text and icons using the slider in the "Resize all elements" item. And if you are only interested in changing the font size, adjust it for each individual element using the drop-down menus in the “Change text size only” item.
When finished, click "Apply."You may need to restart your computer to apply the changes.
If you want to not only change the size, but generally change the font in Windows, open the Control Panel and enter the keywords "window color" (without quotes) in the search field. In the search results, click the "Change colors and metrics window."
A dialog box appears in which you can change the font for almost all elements of the system. From the drop-down menu, choose the elements you need and set the font type, size, color and even bold or italic for them. When finished, click OK. As you can see, changing the font on a computer is not at all difficult!
