Indications for use of "Dexamethasone" in tablet form are: acute and subacute thyroiditis, hypothyroidism, progressive ophthalmopathy induced hyperthyroidism, Addison-Biermer, bronchial asthma, disease, connective tissue, rheumatoid arthritis (in the acute stage), hemolytic autoimmune anemia, serum disease, agranulocytosis, acute erythroderma, acute eczema. Dexamethasone injections are prescribed for shock, brain edema, asthma, severe allergic manifestations, thrombocytopenia, acute hemolytic anemia, agranulitsitoze, acute croup, infectious diseases in severe form, diseases of the joints, acute adrenal insufficiency.
The use of "Dexamethasone" during pregnancy
During pregnancy, Dexamethasone is used to normalize hormonal levels in order to avoid miscarriage. As a rule, drug injections are prescribed as part of a hospital course of treatment or preservation. Vitamin E injections are often used simultaneously. Drops of "Dexamethasone" during pregnancy are prescribed to treat inflammatory eye diseases (iritis, iridocyclitis, bacterial conjunctivitis), which often develop due to changes in hormonal levels and many other factors.
