Defrost the dough. Apples are thoroughly washed, cut in half, free from the middle and chop into thin slices. Fold in a saucepan, pour cold water, add citric acid and bring to a boil. We throw the apples into a colander and rinse. On a floured table thinly roll out the dough. Cut into strips approximately 7 cm wide. Lubricate the middle of the strips with a thin layer of honey and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Fold the slices so that the rounded part slightly over the dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Cover the apples with the remaining free part of the strip.We turn off the resulting billet roll. Apple rosettes are placed in a greased and floured baking dish. We cover with a sheet of baking paper and put in the oven, preheated to 180−190 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove the paper and let the edges redden. We take out the roses from the molds, put them on the dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar through a sieve.
