BPC: Busy Me and Pabz

To those who do not know Pabz, he is my best friend. He has been a best friend since college. Many people may have mistaken us as lovers but it will never ever happen because both of us happened to have the same likes – males. So there’s no chance I can seduce Pabz for he already got a great love in a person of a guy with an initial “T” in a name.

Pabz has been a frequent visitor in my apartment. I may be busy or not, he’s always there and I am always ready to accommodate him for he is a great runner whenever I need to buy this and that. My father likes to have him around too because Pabz is his great cards game opponent. They both like playing tong-hits and/or domino. Anyway, the picture above was taken last Thursday afternoon. I was darn busy online when Pabz showed up. I asked my younger sister Cheem to take a picture of me Pabz while I was still wearing a Nick Automatic tee. That coffee has coffee in it. Yes, I drink coffee anytime of the day which means I am addicted.

Who Would Say No to Diamond Engagement Rings?

None would say no to a diamond engagement ring especially when it is from the man you love and want to spend the rest of your life with. Diamond is the so-called women’s best friend. Can anyone explain why? I would say it is because aside from being expensive, it is mostly used in jewelry making among all the precious stones we know. Even though the world’s largest emerald is up for auction according to White Flash jewelry news, nothing can change the fact that diamond still tops the list of women’s most wished-for stones. It is the most popular. When we hear the word proposal, the first thing that comes to our mind is a precious yellow or while metal that is topped with pieces of diamonds, the engagement ring in short.  Check out these popular engagement ring styles at White Flash.

What have you got? I received a solitaire style engagement ring when my then fiancé – now husband proposed to me but I know it wasn’t as expensive as a houston engagement ring in White Flash, like the one in the picture above. However, I am still fortunate to have received one for I know not everyone had the chance to be able to wear an engagement ring before getting married. So no matter how big or small the diamond is on a ring, as long as it is heartily given from the person whom you’ve wished to spend your life with, it sure brings a smile to a woman’s lips. It’ll be highly appreciated.

To men who are ready to be a husband, start looking for a beautiful engagement ring now for you future wife. Try looking at  www.whiteflash.com, one of the trusted jewelry stores online. It has a wide selection of beautiful diamond engagement rings that your woman can’t dare to say no. Just get the size that fits her perfectly and there you are ready for the big plan, to ask her for a lifelong commitment.

366 BPC: Using Laptop as CPU

I just bought a new Central Processing Unit (CPU) five months ago yet it had crashed last night in the middle of my blog design job. I thought at first it was my monitor that had malfunctioned but when I connected it to my laptop, it worked. Therefore, the problem was the CPU. I don’t wonder though for it is a cheap brand or I don’t know if it is even a brand called Discovery. I know it was named locally and it was a customized central processing unit. Now it’s the lesson I learned for being a cheapstake at gadgets especially computers to think it’s my medium to earning extra income.

I took the CPU today at Octagon, a local computer store here where I am a regular costumer. I do hope it is still fixable, can be picked up tomorrow and doesn’t need a reboot for all my blog design jobs were stored there and I am close to the deadline. I don’t want to do the designing all over again! I’ve been breaking my promises to my costumers and last night when everything was finished, the CPU crashed. Unfortunate me! Right now, I am using my laptop as the CPU. Thanks to this laptop for rescuing my online life for the meantime.

Get Car Insurance Comparison

Do you get an insurance for your car? Just yesterday, my cousin visited me here in my apartment and told me about this accident she and her family have witnessed on the spot on their way here. A passenger van got hit by a bus. The front of the the van she said was flattened. It was like the driver of the van couldn’t be saved with that scenario. I know life is more important but surely with what happened to the van, it could be a total loss to the owner. That’s why they are car insurance in case inevitable circumstances like that occurs that would at least save you from the expenses on car damages. You might want to check out car insurance comparison now.

12/366 BPC: Finally Tasted T-Ice Blue Illusion

My cousins and I just arrived at my apartment about two hours ago. One of my cousins took her four children along and they are now occupying my room. It just meant I was to sleep on the couch in the living room. An hour later, more cousins came over with some alcoholic drinks. Hmnn….it meant staying up.

T-Ice Blue Illusion

With Cousin Toki

My eyes glitter when I saw a bottle of Tanduay Ice Blue Illusion in a bag they brought in. At last I’ve tasted it! I have been wanting to try it. I have been dead curious as to how it taste like and how it is better than the plain one. It tasted sweet at first, which is great for those who are not heavy drinker but the aftertaste is a disappointment (for me) because it tasted blah. The blue illusion is indeed an illusion. I was expecting to taste a tang of blue berry since it’s blue but no, only pineapple juice and a bit of alcohol.

Now I have heavy shoulders and eyes. I need to sleep but I have to stay up until whoever gives up a bed. I am linking this to 366 Blog Photo Challenge.

A4 Tech Anti-Glare Webcam

Finally, I got a new webcam. It has been months already when I got it. My 4 years old webcam had already malfunctioned a long time ago but I didn’t mind having no webcam due to I had no reason to use it. My husband was here and I have no relatives from outside the country that I talk regularly with webcam.

Sysa, my high school friend who’s currently working as a nurse in Chicago has been bugging me to get a new webcam so we could see each other. She sure missed me that much. Lol! I missed her too so a few months back, I got this 16 Megapixel A4 Tech Anti-Glare Webcam for Php900.00. I tell you, it’s worth the price.

This webcam works with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. I am currently using Windows 7 and it works really great. Here’s the specification:

Still image:Up to 16 Megapixel, 4608×3456 (software interpolated)
Image sensor:1/6″CMOS, 640×480 pixels
Frame rate:30fps@160×120, @320×240, @640×480
Lens:F=2.4, f=3.5 mm
View angle:54 degrees
Focus range:Automatic focus, 10 cm to infinity
Exposure control:Automatic
White balance:Automatic
Microphone:Built-in
Computer interface:USB 2.0

That’s me in the little square. Sysa was just using her laptop’s built-in webcam.

I’ve used it with Sysa right away and we had a great time talking to each other. I was happy to at least see her on her blurred webcam. I like this webcam of mine! Even my friends like it too. They like coming over here at my place to use it for cam to cam chatting.

I Am 25 Years Old

Yay, I’ve turned a year older last year, December 22, 2011 (sorry for posting late) and this below is how big I am now. I’ve spent my birthday with my little sisters, father, and few of our friends in Dipolog City.
With the help of the few generous people, I was able to have a just preparation on my birthday for my family and friends who came over. Thank you!
I was a bit sad that my mother and brother didn’t find time to come over on my day but still, I am thankful that my drunkard dad was there. He helped entertain the visitors. A big thanks to my sisters who were two of the sponsors (lol) on my birthday. They’ve helped me a lot in putting up a sumptuous dinner for visitors. Later that night on my birthday, Cheem’s boyfriend treated me and the rest to a bar-hop party. I had fun!
